Approval of Minutes: of October 8th. - Motion to approved minutes by Jenny Carroll 2nd. By - Gary Van Wambeke All A’s Thanks Jenny for a job well done!

Old Business: Colin went to Health Department and met with Michel & Doug, much information was exchanged and Colin reviewed all questions he asked and the answers he got. The bottom line is: not recommended to go with mandatory inspections and to proceed slowly. Colin excused him self and Vince Berry sat in the balance of the meeting. MUCH DISCUSSION: On the mandatory inspections pursued. Carl made a mutation: the planning committee recommend to the township board we have mandatory inspections every 10 years, in R-1 & R-2 Districts. Gary 2nd. Roll call vote: Rex - no, Gary - no, Jenny - no, Jim - no, Marty - no, Carl - yes. Motion did not pass!

New Business: Gary brought up a zoning variance that is pending. He feels there is no reason to let theh build colser to the water. He was told by Rex to write to appeals board or attend the meeting. Jim & Jenny passed out a list of items suggested for the NEWS LETTER, Rex also has a list of items he will forward to Carl. Carl will draft the letter and E mail to all for review. A copy of this letter will be published in next weeks paper as well as our web page, prior to the Zoning Public HEARING SCHEDULED FOR November 1st. 2014 December News Letter. This article must be turned in by November 1st. To date the DRAFT COPY of the zoning has not been put on the web, Rex will get with Kathy on that. Gary and Jim suggested we sugest a test case on a failed septic system to the township board, to see if they will act! Rex said lets wait tell new ordinance is in place. Discussion will continue next meeting.
