| Recent Fire Board Meeting Minutes |

Secord Township Fire Board Fireboard members met at 3"p.m. today at the fire hall, in order to view an air boat brought there from Billings Twp. The air boat was made in Forida, by a company called Alumetech. A gentelman who helps design and build them, named Ron Miller, talked to our group, and answered questions. He was very imformative , and knowledgeable. I was impressed! Chief Fred and Marty will bring this info to the township board at their next meeting. Mr. Miller is one of only six people, contacted by the Department of the Interior to teach their airboat class. Regular meeting began with Pledge of Allegiance opened at 4:20p.m. Roll Call: Marty------present, Fred-----present, Jenny---present, Sharon---present, Maxine----present, Larry ---absent. Gary VanWambeke--representing the Township Board, was also present Motion by Sharon to accept minutes, supported by Marty. Grants: both grants written were turned in last Fri. Antenna: all good, crystal clear reception for fire dept.,yeah!!! Runs: Marty motion to accept the runs,Sharon support. Bills: pay the bills, motion by Sharon, supported by Marty. Fire run bills: none Motion to adjourn by Jenny @ 4:43, supported by Maxine. |
