Fire Board Minutes for November 12, 2007
Meeting called to order by Acting Chair Larry Santamour at 7:01pm

Attendees:
Fire Board: Larry Santamour, Marge Chamberlain, Maxine Larson, Tom McCarthy
Fire Dept.: Chief Fred Shaver, Asst. Chief Rick Denison
Visitor: Twp. Trustee Vince Barry T. McCarthy moved. M. Chamberlain 2nd to approve minutes of 10-3-07. MC

Old Business

Dry Hydrant Update - J. Boman busy, Chief will draw-up plans & fax. them. Building Addition - structure complete, heat & electric will be completed 11-14. Generator installed and performing well. Swipe card lock to be moved 11-13. FF Grant - no news
Run Charge Invoice & Cover Letter - ordinance effective 10-24-07. Chief & Twp Treas. to receive Invoices, Treas. also to receive cover letter. Chief has posted charges inside and out @ Fire Hall. M. Chamberlain posted @ Twp. Hall. MTA Fire Dept. Training - M. Chamberlain will summarize and send via email.

New Business

Bills - Chief cited largest item, generator, with explanation. T. McCarthy moved,
M. Chamberlain 2nd to pay the bills. MC M. Larson moved, L. Santamour 2nd
to pay the final bill to M. Breault for the building. MC
Runs & Training - discussion and corrections. M. Larson moved, T. McCarthy
2nd to pay with the corrections. MC
Other - Rescue vehicle paid off, error in Capital Account corrected. Chief
discussed an applicant who has no driver's license. Our policy requires one &
Board agreed with Chief not to accept the applicant. Chief turned in a form from
Consumers which the Clerk needs to complete & mail with copy to the Chief.

T. McCarthy moved, M. Larson 2nd to adjourn. Meeting adjourned @ 7:47pm. Next meeting December 10, 2007 @ 7:00pm, Township Hall.
